Much of the text has been provided by researchers working in the
tropical savannas. Other sections have been written by Kate
O'Donnell, Peter Jacklyn (TS-CRC) and Emma Woodward (CSIRO).
Images and Photos
Nearly all images on our websites have been provided to us free,
many by scientists working in the tropical savannas. Where possible
we credit each photo we use; but that's a little difficult on a
home page.
On our home page there are images from Alex Kutt and Eric
Vanderduys, at CSIRO Sustainable Ecosystems in Townsville, Leonie
Valentine at James Cook University in Townsville, Julie Crough from
the Tropical Savannas CRC, Kathryn Thorburn, formerly of the CRC,
and images from CSIRO Tropical Ecosystems Research Centre in Darwin
and the Charles Darwin University.
